PROFILE OF CONSUL-GENERAL
The Consul-General, H. E. Tahiru Iddrisu, is a product of the Legon Centre of International Affairs and Diplomacy (LECIAD), Ghana, and University of Ghana, Legon.
The Consul-General holds an M.A in International Relations, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with Study of Religions as well as a certificate in Diplomatic Practices from Egmont Royal Institute for International Relations, Brussels, Belgium.
H.E. Mr. Iddrisu is a career diplomat, serving in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration. Prior to being appointed to his current position as Consul-General, he served in Ghana’s High Commission in New Delhi, India from 2012 to 2016. He was Head of Chancery at Ghana High Commission in Freetown, Sierra Leone from 2019 to 2020, and Deputy Director of Middle East Bureau at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2017 until 2019.
H.E. Tahiru Iddrisu is married with three kids.
